The shipyard was founded in 1944 and currently has 2,500 employees. It covers a land area of 830,000 square meters, and possesses one 50,000t sliding plate slipway, two 30,000t mechanized slipways, one 15,000t slipway, one 7,000t, one 1,500t mechanized slipway, 40 variable-slope cross sliding type horizontal shipways of 400t class mainly for fishing vessels and 15000 meters fitting-out wharf. Various vessels not exceeding 50,000dwt can be built and repaired in our shipyard, including high-tech and high added-value vessels such as MPV with heavy lift, RoPax, offshore, etc. The shipyard is also able to design and make fishery machinery, outfitting & casting-forging parts.

The shipyard delivered 103 units ships, including 14 units¨ cargo/passenger vessels and 89 fishery vessels, in total 330,000dwt in one calendar year for the world wide clients.
